These braces are just like traditional braces except they are placed on the tongue side or inside of the teeth. Lingual braces are hidden and practically invisible, making them a popular treatment option for adults looking to improve their smile.
INBRACE is advanced technology that utilizes computer modeling and algorithms to determine the shortest path for each tooth to move to obtain the best smile. In addition, the wire is designed by INBRACE to be worn throughout treatment and allows for flossing ease! These smart-wires fit into slim brackets that encourage friction-free, healthy teeth movement.

What to expect with INBRACE
As with traditional braces, there will be a short adjustment period with INBRACE. Vincent & Bullwinkel Orthodontics will provide our patients with wax and GishyGoo, which helps to reduce contact of the brackets with the underside of the tongue. Patients are seen in office approximately every six to eight weeks so the brackets can be activated accordingly.
Common FAQs about INBRACE
Will INBRACE affect my speech?
As with traditional braces or aligners, because there is an appliance that is being placed between your teeth and tongue, there can be a slight change in speech. Not all speech sounds are affected, and the change rectifies itself quickly. To encourage faster adaptation, patients are encouraged to read aloud often.
How do I clean my teeth with INBRACE?
Thanks to the unique curved design of INBRACE smart-wires, daily oral hygiene is easier than with other lingual braces, and patients can brush and floss normally. However, any orthodontic treatment does require a bit more effort. Electronic toothbrushes and water flossers are extremely helpful tools that assist patients in going the extra mile to keep their teeth healthy. In addition, it is advisable to avoid eating hard, sticky, or chewy foods.
Is INBRACE a good option for my child?
INBRACE is extremely popular with teens because the braces are completely hidden! INBRACE can provide your son or daughter with the smile they desire without needing to hide their current smile because embarrassment over braces. As a bonus, patients do not have to worry that food might be stuck in their front teeth after eating!
